ACT Therapy Services, LLC is a therapist-owned, private company located in North and South Carolina. Rebecca Ingram Rowe, M.A., CCC-SLP/COM® is licensed in both North and South Carolina as well as nationally certified through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She has over eleven years of experience specializing in child and adult speech, language, cognitive, voice and swallowing disorders.
Rebecca has worked with toddlers to 18-year-olds in home, preschool, elementary, middle and high school settings. She has also worked for Atrium Health in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation with adults who have had strokes, traumatic brain injuries and prolonged hospitalizations.
Her specialty is orofacial myofunctional disorders and motor speech. She is also a Certified Orofacial Myologist (COM®) after completing coursework, training and undergoing intensive observations in the field. Rebecca is an active member of the IAOM (International Association of Orofacial Myologists) and attends the conference yearly. She regularly coordinates her care for orofacial myofunctional disorders with orthodontists, dentists, allergists, ENTs, craniosacral therapists and sleep doctors.
